One Day

One day we will walk a city together
Listening to the tales it has to tell
Munching on morsels overheard
Sipping sober stories of urban swell

One day I will visit you
In your house with tall windows
Will slip into the couch and watch
The glorious seasky views

One day we will sail that boat
And anchor it at sea
Rocking gently on its waves
It’ll just be you and me

One day we will dance that dance
Where dreams will not feel so
The wild rhythm of music mad
The pulsating melody slow

One day we will meet so far
We may have forgotten who we are
And it won’t matter even a bit
Because, you and I, are It 🙂

[ok, ok, I’ll change the last line sometime:) ]
